The Zambia Chamber of Commerce and industry extends its congratulations to President Mr. Amos Kapi and the entire North Western Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NWCCI) team for successfully hosting the Kansanshi Business Dinner and the NWCCI Awards on 13 December 2025.
Held under the theme “Mining for Growth: Empowering Local Suppliers, Creating Wealth, and Building a Lasting Legacy,” the event brought together public and private sector stakeholders at a critical time for strengthening local participation in Zambia’s mining value chain.
During his remarks, ZACCI President Mr. Anthony Kabaghe reiterated the Chambers unwavering commitment to promoting greater participation of local suppliers, contractors, and service providers in the mining sector. He said strengthening domestic value chains is key to ensuring that the mining industry contributes more effectively to inclusive economic growth and sustainable wealth creation.
ZACCI remains committed to supporting its district and provincial chambers of commerce as they quest to promote business development at sub national level. At this event , the chamber was represented by Mr. Anthony Kabaghe , president, Mrs. Josephine Makando, Vice President – Commerce and Trade and Acting Chief Executive Officer Mr. Emmanuel Mumba.
