From Dialogue to Deals: India – Zambia Unlocking New Frontiers for Trade, Investment, and Private Sector Growth

On 10th February 2026, the Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI) participated in a hybrid interactive session on Trade and Investment Opportunities between India and Zambia. The event was organized by the High Commission of India in Lusaka.

ZACCI was represented by Mr. Emmanuel Mumba, Acting Chief Executive Officer, who delivered a presentation titled “Unlocking Private Sector Investment: The Role of Chambers in Investment Promotion, Market Access, and Business Development Services.” The presentation highlighted the Chamber’s strategic role in facilitating investment linkages, expanding market access for Zambian enterprises, and delivering tailored business development services aimed at driving sustainable private sector growth.

In attendance was also Mr. Ashu Sagar, ZACCI Vice President for Manufacturing.

The session recorded strong engagement, with over 70 participants attending physically in Zambia and more than 100 participants joining virtually from India, showing the growing momentum to strengthen bilateral trade and investment cooperation between the two countries. 🇮🇳🤝🇿🇲
